Singularity Transmissions

Singularity Transmissions was a an installation at Burning Man 2012. I was part of a team of 21 artists and performers from the Houston area led by Troy Stanley to construct and maintain this structure in Black Rock City, Nevada. It consisted of tin can phones from each pod to the top of the tower where they were connected to mics. The audio wasprojected across the playa and recorded through the week of burning man. It captured the howling wind, impromptu singing sessions, poetry readings, and all the musings of the participants of Burning Man.
